Chair
It was an architects and designers Best Collection of office waiting-room furniture Contest, organized by Dauphin company together with “INTERIOR+DESIGN. 100% Office” magazine and Concept Company.
Panel of judges: Cark Gustav Magnusson (designer, president of the jury), Freidrich-Wilgelm and Yolke Dauphin, the owners of Dauphin), Yens Cappelman (representative of Dauphin in Eastern Europe), Maria Savostjanova (assistant editor of “Interier+Design”, magazine), Sergej Konnov (editor of “Interier+Design. 100% Office”magazine), Jurij Pavlov (managing partner of Concept company), Irina Turuntaeva (chief architect of Concept company).
In the beginning of autumn the Art Centre “Winzavod” held an exhibition of various very interesting works. The names of the finalists became known at the opening. Julia Ionova (first place), Vadim Kibardin (third place), Natalja Vishnjakova and Georgij Morozov (second place) were the winners. Full-size prototypes were then produced from their sketches, and demonstrated by Dauphin company ORGATEC 2006 exhibition (from 24th to 28th October) in Cologne (Germany).
