This contest in design, arts and architecture is held yearly since 2003. In 2006 in the world of contemporary design this event united the exhibition of the DIA finalists’ works and the DIA awarding ceremony. The nominations were: K -OBJECT - objective design, K -IMAGE - video, photo, multimedia; K -SOUND - experimental music, sound-design; K – special assignment.

Mobile telephone for travelers Freedom 2010 by Vadim Kibardin entered the final of the competition, and the pendant  Greenboy was in the shortlist.

Only the works, which convert material environment and which are reproduced in series, in other words, the ones that are of the Industrial Design category, were taken into consideration. The creation of conterminal projects, combining architecture, urban objects, graphic design and industrial design, was greeted with pleasure. The projects in K-object nomination had to be realized with the application of an experimental, conceptual approach and with the retention of materiality. In other words, the works, which combined the novelty of ideas with the detailed thorough consideration of the manufacturing process, were defined as the best.
