MDW1

This fall Moscow demonstrated to the whole design community that it stands in line with Milan, London and Paris. Design Week 2010 took place in Moscow from the 5th to the 9th October.

The program of the Moscow Design Week is made for those who create design, materialize the ideas of designers, push forward, sell and become the consumer. All the visitors are granted an opportunity to get acquainted with the latest products, to talk to the professionals, who became the participants and guests of the Moscow Design Week. Russian and overseas manufacturers could see and appreciate the projects of Russian designers, their creativity and potential, and thanks to that, Russian design is one step closer to becoming an industry. Moscow Design Week is a celebration of design, it connects exhibitions, presentations of Russian and overseas projects, film shows and roundtable discussions.

The events of the Moscow Design Week covered more than 60 sights, including the main museums, galleries, show-rooms, cinemas and shops of Moscow. Exhibitions, lections, competitions, festivals took place within the Moscow Design Week 2010.
