Works of the finalists of DIA 2003 were demonstrated on the exhibition taking place from the 1st to the 7th June 2003.
In 2003 the Design Innovations Award was given in three nominations: “Architecture”, “Industrial Design” and “Graphic Design”.
Experts examined all the works and defined the list of candidates for getting into the final during the first stage of the competition. Having figured out the shortlist, they began determining the finalists and chose 10 works in each nomination.
Finally, international stars David Karson, Ross Lovegrove and Shigeru Ban chose one winner in each nomination. Two works by Vadim Kibardin were in the “Industrial Design” nomination.
The galoshes Sleet No project reached the final, the mobile phone “Show on” was in the shortlist of the contest.
