Designeast, o. s., present the exhibition project “DESIGNEAST.EU OFFLINE” http://offline.designeast.eu
Designeast, o.s. (non-profit organization) in co-operation with Prague International Airport and Design Hét Budapest present an exhibition of select design from central and eastern Europe called "Designeast.eu OFFLINE". The aim of the project is to focus the attention of the general public and professionals on the work of established and young designers, which originates in this very specific culturally rich area of the former Eastern Bloc.
The exhibition project expands on the online activities of the acclaimed Designeast.eu blog, which aims to promote select design from central, eastern and southeastern Europe on international scale. This part of Europe offers a wide range of quality work, while being relatively undiscovered yet.
The exhibition will run simultaneously in the Czech Republic and in Hungary. A curated selection of contemporary design from central and eastern Europe will be exhibited on 24 large format prints installed in the public spaces of Prague International Airport and the Code-Decode showroom. The selection includes a broad spectrum of design themes from jewelry, accessories to industrial design, furniture and lights.
