MIDO Exhibition is held in Milan every year. This time it took place in the fieramilanocity hall from the 5th to 8th of May and was organized by EFOP. MIDO is a famous international exhibition in the field of optics and ophthalmology that takes place annually in the new hall of the exhibition center Fiera Milano. Nowadays it is the principal exhibition when it comes to optics and everything that concerns the human eye. Only here one can find more than 15 thousand various models of sun glasses of about 1700 world famous brands as well as brand new fashion goods, samples of new products that are about to be introduced to public.

During this exposition in the Charmant boutique, that the awarding ceremony of the winners of the "Charmant International Design Competition" took place. The grand prize went to Vadim Kibardin (a russian designer), his rim for glasses Cerambyx Cerdo Frame was the best, according to Naoto Fukasawa, a famous designer and head of the contest jury. A prototype of the product was exhibited at the exposition, the award-winning rim 'Cerambyx cerdo frame' went into mass production in 2007.
